Summary: | Life skills programmes are designed to give learners who are found competent the skills to understand and manage aspects of life they may encounter in their daily lives. The self-development course gives the learner skills to assist with decision making in everyday life. |
Content: | Modules:
1.1 Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of self as a unique individual. 1.2 Demonstrate understanding of self in relation to different environments. 1.3 Use a variety of strategies to deal with life situations. 1.4 Make an informed life decision based on self-knowledge. |
Entry requirements: | ABET level 4 (Basic reading, writing and arithmetic).Mathematical literacy and communication at NQF level 1.
Medium of instruction and training materials are in English. Minimum course duration 1 day. |

Who Should Attend: | This course requires learners to reflect on their interests and abilities in order to empower them to make informed life decisions. It is intended for the unemployed, out of school youth and employees faced with a life change. It will be useful for learners who want to develop their potential and for learners in business. |
