|Summary:||Life skills programmes are designed to give learners who are found competent the skills to understand and manage aspects of life they may encounter in their daily lives. Personal finance gives the learner insight into managing their own finances.|

1.1 Explain the importance of managing personal finances.
1.2 Set personal financial goals.
1.3 Identify ways to achieve personal financial goals.
1.4 Develop a personal and/or family budget
|Entry requirements:||ABET level 4 (Basic reading, writing and arithmetic).Mathematical literacy and communication at NQF level 1.
