Evacuation and Planning

Duration: 1 day 08h00 to 16h30 (1 Hour lunch break)
Summary: The course provides the learner with a step for step guide to developing an emergency evacuation and emergency response plan for workplace emergencies such as fires, security or bomb threats, flooding, hazardous spills or leaks and other related workplace emergencies.
Accreditation: Amokoro Training is accredited against unit standard 120329 Respond to, implement and manage emergencies according to an emergency action plan in a workplace NQF level 03.

  1. Fire Safety
  2. Fire Marshals / Emergency Wardens
  3. Procedures
  4. Evacuation plans
  5. Checklists.
Entry requirements: ABET level 4 (Basic reading, writing and arithmetic). Method of instruction and training materials are in English. In certain circumstances alternative languages will be catered for, but only by prior arrangement.
